T'ai Chi is neither a martial art nor religion, but is a moving meditation consisting of 20 gentle, flowing (but simple) movements. When practiced regularly, these movements can bring peace, serenity and an overall sense of well being to our busy lives.

Various medical studies conducted over the last 20 years (including three recently conducted at UCSD Medical Center) have shown that the regular practice of T’ai Chi has far-reaching physical benefits. The soft, slow and healing movements have a significant effect on blood pressure, back problems, joint stiffness, weight control, stress reduction, physical energy and enhancement of the immune system.

According to the National Institute of Health, over 70% of diseases in this country are caused by stress. Let's reduce that number by a daily dose of tender Tai Chi! You will feel a sense of peace and joy after performing only a few movements.
